Why are the Octagon girls more well known than Boxing ring girls?
Seems like the UFC girls get more attention and get marketed better than boxing ring card girls. How come boxing does not give more ring card girls a “push” like Dana White does with his girls? I mean, everyone knows who Arianny Celeste is, right?
The UFC Ring Card girls are actual employees of the UFC. They are at every fight, and are shown after every round, with Mike Goldberg usually saying there name like, “the beautiful Arianny”. It makes them more popular. Ring Card girls in Boxing are usually local girls who are hired or chosen somehow, and are usually never the same. Plus, HBO doesn’t even show their girls (why, I don’t know) and Showtime rarely does as well, let alone saying there names to the audience.
