Mma Heavy Bag Stand
there was a pop in my calf…?
I was training in mma tonight (I’ve been doing this for 7 years) I threw a knee kick at a standing heavy bag and as soon as I put it down I felt this pop in my calf and I can’t and couldn’t put any weight on it. I’ve been “RICING” it but I’m unsure of seeing my orthopedic doctor? Any idea what happened and why? Is it worth seeing a doctor? I need to be better soon. Thanks for the help.
My suggestion is to at least see your regular doctor. Better yet, see an orthopedic surgeon so they can take some xrays. if they are inconclusive you may need an MRI. Popping sounds followed by not being able to put weight on it isn’t good and should be looked at as soon as possible.
