Mma Kimbo Slice Cage
Do you think a rough person from the street would stand a chance in the ring?
Alright, forget Kimbo Slice, and forget fighting at against a good pro fighter. All other things being equal, who would you put your money on:
A person who grew up in a rough neighborhood and picks violent fights for fun, or an amateur MMA fighter, say (5-0), with a year of Muay Thai and BJJ? We’re talking about a cage match here, not a street fight.
The reason I ask is, I wonder if just the average thug, ex-military, whoever stepped into a amateur fight, would they get destroyed? And how badly? Like R1 or what?
The MMA fighter has the advantage. But it depends on the 2 people. I known a skinhead who was never really trained in anything that made an average thai fighter look like a wimp. And there are others of course whom make their hands flail and would not stand a chance.
All in all, the MMA fighter 9 out of 10 times.
