How can i convince my dad to let me join an mma gym.?
Im 14 and have 5+ martial arts experience. I train on my heavy bag at the very very least 30 minutes a day. I want to go into a new MA but the closest MA around is Muay thai but its way to crowded. The only places around art mma. And i want in. I love backyard brawling and sparring. One of the main concerns(for my dad) is coliflour ear. But i keep telling him that we wear head gear that covers our nose and mouth and wear shin in steps AND big gloves not pro gloves. How can i convince my dad.
cauliflower ear comes from years and years of wrestling, and training. It doesn’t happen over night. You don’t always wear head gear. Just tell him that it’s something you really want to do, tell him to take a class with you they will offer a week or sometimes a month free to try it out.
