how do i start a fight club?
i was inspired by the book fight club (even though it wasn’t entirely about fighting) and i was trying to make an underground fight club. fighters get to pick yes or no headgear, boxing gloves, mma gloves, bare knuckles, round time, etc. but i haven’t been able to convince a lot of people to come.
how do you think i can get more people to come??
You need incentive for people to come. Cash is a very good incentive (as in prizes) you also need to ensure it’s safe for the fighters. No man will want to fight and risk being stomped and pounded until he’s seriously hurt. As long as you keep the fights clean and responsible people will enjoy it. These things always start small but they really grow.
A friend of mine started something similar when we were in high school. We used boxing gloves and fought in my friends huge basement. It started off with just 5 of us… like once every 2-3 months or something. Then more people came, and once they saw that we fought responsibly more people started to come. We then made it the first friday of every month. Later on we even had girls coming along to watch fights and chill.
If you take care of your fighters, they’ll be happy to come back and will probably invite their friends.
