Mma Websites Review

Should I do Muay Thai or Boxing and where can I find a good Muay Thai training center in South Austin TX?

I’ve heard from some people I’d be good for boxing and others for muay thai. I’ve had some experience boxing, but none in muay thai, and don’t know if I’m the right build for it. I’ve gotten mixed reviews from friends saying that I’d be to short or that I don’t have the body structure. I’m around 5′7-5′8 with sort of a broad build, not really long legs (which is what I’ve heard from some that I need). Anyway I’m wondering if it doesn’t matter and I should go searching for Muay Thai lessons or if I should just stick to boxing. Any hoot if anyone agrees I should do Muay Thai, do y’all know of any places around South Austin that have good classes. I’m looking for something real, not a huge gimmick with fancy gyms and elaborated websites, but from people who know what they are doing and want to teach people who are looking to get serious about potentially making a move into MMA. Thanks!

Premier Martial Arts is the place to go in Texas where you are for Muay Thai. The owner is Steve Doss who fought kickboxing as a pro around the world. You can go to a place where they learn Muay Thai in a weekend seminar, or from someone who’s the real deal. I’ll pick the trainer with real experience. I’m an aspiring MMA fighter from New Jersey and I’ve trained with Steve Doss when he’s in New York or New Jersey. He’s a friend of Carl Mascarenhas, the promoter of Asylum Fight League www.asylumfightleague.com who is my instructor.
