Mma Workout Routine Weights
Am I getting too much exercise to get cut?
I’m a pretty active person, I always do a cardio workout (running or an ab workout) in the morning, alternating between the two. During the day I also go for a swim (about a mile or a 3/4 mile sprint workout), lift weights (following AST Max-OT routine), and do an intense one hour cardio class OR go to my MMA gym when I’m not at the university for a 1.5 hour class.
My cardio is great and I feel fantastic. Also, my joints don’t hurt or anything. But I’m not getting cut in my abs; they’re kind of poking through, but they’re not washboard. I have to lose just a little bit of skin for them to show. My question: am I exercising too much to get cut? I’ve heard that overdoing it can cause a higher body fat percentage. Any help appreciated! Thanks!
Adjust your diet.
