About to get a 360, what should I know?
So I’m finally breaking down and getting a 360. Never had an X Box before, I’m usually a PC gamer but there are some titles on there I’m very interested to play (Fable 2, Halos (can you play 1+2 on the 360?), Gears of War 2, etc) and I’m just curious what I should know about Xbox. What games do you suggest? What games are compatible from the original Xbox? What’s up with Xbox arcade? Should I get elite or regular?
Ok, so can someone break down the difference between the 360, 360 Pro, 360 Elite and 360 Arcade systems?

you have 3 options live update , burn a dvd or cd or order the update.
Live update but you need to have a broadband Ethernet connection to the Internet and an Xbox LIVE account are required. The Xbox LIVE account can be either a Gold or Silver membership. so you have to spend more money.
the second one is the fastest one just download the update, unzip, rename to default.xex burn it to a dvd or cd and
Step 1: Place the CD in the Xbox 360 console.
Step 2: The update program will start automatically. Select “Continue” to apply the update.
Step 3: Wait for the update to complete.
Step 4: Your system needs to have the operating system software updated. Select “Yes, update now” and press the A button.
Step 5: The console will reboot and you’re done. Insert your original Xbox games and enjoy!
