Ufc Brock Lesnar Next Fight
Do you think in the future (8-10 years from now), the elite UFC fighters will make millions per fight?
It went from a $50,000 paycheck in 1993 back when Royce Gracie fought… to hundreds of thousands of dollars per fight for top fighters like Rampage Jackson, Forrest Griffin, and Brock Lesnar.
Is it possible that the UFC will pay its fighters as much as the boxing league pays its boxers in the next decade?
I think it is definatelt possible. As soonas MMA gets a major network deal or partnership with a HBO or the like. Not to mension MMA is still a relatively young sport. The more propular it gets the more money they have to offer to fighters.
I think there needs to be more competition between orgs to drive up salaries, and that will yake some time. There needs to be more money from commercial sponsorships and tv deals for other orgs to compete with the UFC. Once more legit promoters and orgs are established and MMA gains more traction in the popular conciousness then I can definately see million dollar paydays. I don’t know if it will ever be like boxing but it is going to be big for sure.
