Do i need a FOID card to fire weapons in a shooting range in Chicago IL.?

Going to Chicago in Oct. for the UFC and i need to know if i can fire weapons without a FOID card. please help Thanks

There are no ranges or gun shops in Chicago city limits. In its suburbs it depends on the range. The range I go to they allows someone to shoot at the range as long as they are with someone who has a FOID card. You also need a DL or State ID.

If you are out of state as long as you are legal to shoot and buy guns in your state you can with driver’s license.

Most of the gun ranges though require you to be with an IL resident or be one.

You can always do a google or yahoo search on gun ranges near where you are staying and call them to find the exacts.

Well whoever thumbs me down can should do the same research I did. I called all my ranges in a 40 mile area and this is what I found…Just giving what I was told.
