How do I add an image/icon/logo to an already open photoshop picture?
I have a picture of me in a fighting stance and I wanted to add a UFC logo in the back round or right above my stance, how do I go about doing this? Anyone? Answer gets alll the stars/points.
open up the 2 pics side by side…than open your layers window…. on the pic with the logo grap the layer and drag it right across directly onto the other pic. It will be a 2nd layer on top of your fighting pic.
Now…if the logo has a background to it that will carry over as well. If you want a transparant background then first you have to edit the logo pic. You can use either the lasso tool or the extract filter. Once you get just the logo with a transparant background move it over to the other pic as a new layer.
then use the edit / free transfer to scale it to the right size and drag it to a position you like. (hold the shift key when re-sizing so you maintain image proportions)
